Eat Well ABQ offers local pickup in Albuquerque and shipping across the United States for eligible products. This policy explains how pickup, shipping, fulfillment, fresh bread shipping, classes, and order issues are handled.

Eat Well ABQ offers bakery products, class bookings, private events, specialty items, and other goods or services through our website. Fulfillment options may vary by product type, date, season, location, availability, and checkout settings.
We offer shipping across the United States for eligible products. Some fresh, perishable, heat-sensitive, fragile, oversized, or class-related items may have shipping limitations, special packaging costs, or may only be available for local pickup depending on the product and conditions.
Please review the product page, checkout details, confirmation email, and any direct communication from Eat Well ABQ carefully before completing your purchase.
We ship across the U.S.
Eligible products may be shipped within the United States when shipping is available and selected at checkout.
Fresh bread is delicate.
Fresh loaves may require extra packaging, insulation, cold packs, faster transit, or seasonal limits to protect quality.
Classes do not ship.
Class seats, workshops, private events, and in-person experiences are fulfilled through attendance or booking confirmation.
We ship eligible products nationwide, but fresh bread shipping has real limits.
Eat Well ABQ ships eligible products across the United States when shipping is available at checkout. Because fresh sourdough loaves and other bakery items are handmade, perishable, and sensitive to time, temperature, and handling, shipping may require special packaging, insulated materials, cold packs, faster transit, and higher shipping costs. Local pickup remains the best option for the freshest bakery experience.
Shipping across the United States
Eat Well ABQ offers shipping across the United States for eligible products. Shipping availability is determined by product type, destination, season, weather, packaging requirements, carrier options, and checkout settings.
Not every item is equally suitable for shipping. Some items may ship well, while others may be limited, restricted, delayed, or unavailable for shipping because of freshness, fragility, temperature sensitivity, size, weight, or quality concerns.
If shipping is available for your order, the available shipping options and costs will be shown at checkout.
Fresh loaf shipping limitations
Fresh sourdough loaves are handmade, naturally fermented, and perishable. They are best enjoyed fresh, and the highest-quality experience will usually come from local pickup in Albuquerque.
When fresh loaves are shipped, the loaf may experience changes in crust texture, moisture, softness, appearance, aroma, or freshness during transit. This can happen because bread continues to age after baking and because shipping exposes the loaf to time, movement, temperature changes, humidity, and carrier handling outside of our control.
Depending on the loaf, destination, season, and weather, shipping fresh bread may require additional protective packaging, insulated materials, cold packs, moisture protection, and faster shipping methods. These materials and transit requirements can significantly increase shipping costs compared with ordinary non-perishable items.
Important note: Shipping fresh bread is not the same as shipping a shelf-stable product. Extra packaging, cold packs, insulation, and faster delivery can make shipping more expensive, but those steps may be necessary to protect freshness and food quality.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on product type, package size, package weight, destination, carrier rates, delivery speed, and any packaging needed to protect the item. Fresh bakery items may cost more to ship than customers expect because they may require protective packaging, insulation, cold packs, or faster transit.
Eat Well ABQ does not control carrier pricing. Shipping charges shown at checkout may reflect both carrier costs and the additional materials needed to package fresh or delicate products responsibly.
Shipping fees are generally nonrefundable once an order has shipped, unless otherwise required by law or approved by Eat Well ABQ after reviewing a specific issue.
Local pickup
Many Eat Well ABQ bakery items are made fresh in small batches and may also be available for local pickup in Albuquerque. Pickup details may be shown on the product page, at checkout, in your confirmation email, or in a direct message from Eat Well ABQ.
Customers are responsible for reviewing pickup dates, pickup windows, pickup location details, and any order instructions before completing checkout. If a pickup time or location is unclear, please contact us before placing your order or as soon as possible after checkout.
Because fresh bakery items are perishable, missed pickups may not be eligible for refund, exchange, remake, or rescheduling. Please review our Refund Policy for more information.
Processing and fulfillment times
Fulfillment times vary by product type, bakery production schedule, order volume, class schedule, private event schedule, ingredient availability, shipping method, destination, and whether the item is made fresh, prepared to order, or already available.
Any fulfillment time, pickup window, delivery estimate, or shipping estimate shown on the website or in checkout is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise. Eat Well ABQ does its best to communicate clearly, but exact timing may vary.
If an order requires follow-up, clarification, substitution, weather-related adjustment, or special coordination, fulfillment may be delayed until we are able to confirm details with the customer.
Shipping carriers and delivery estimates
Orders may be shipped using the carrier, service, or fulfillment method available through checkout or selected by Eat Well ABQ. Shipping rates and options may vary based on destination, item type, package size, package weight, delivery speed, and carrier availability.
Delivery dates and shipping transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Eat Well ABQ is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, heat, holidays, incorrect addresses, package volume, customs processing, delivery exceptions, or events outside our control.
Once a package is transferred to the carrier, the carrier is responsible for transit, scanning, tracking, and delivery. Title and risk of loss may pass to the customer when the order is transferred to the carrier, as permitted by law.
Customer address and contact information
Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping addresses, billing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, pickup names, and other order details at checkout.
Eat Well ABQ is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, lost packages, missed pickup communication, additional carrier fees, returned shipments, or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable customer information.
If you notice an error in your order details, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after an order has been placed, prepared, fulfilled, or shipped.
Class bookings and private events
Class seats, workshops, private events, group experiences, and similar bookings are not physical shipments. These purchases are fulfilled through attendance, booking confirmation, event preparation, and the scheduled class or event experience.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the class date, time, location, attendee details, and any instructions before completing checkout. If a class includes a take-home item or in-class product, that item is provided as part of the class experience unless otherwise stated.
Class bookings and private events are subject to our Refund Policy and any details provided on the specific class or event page.
Fresh and perishable items
Fresh bakery items are perishable and may be sensitive to time, temperature, handling, movement, and storage conditions. Eat Well ABQ is not responsible for product quality issues caused by carrier delays, missed pickup, delayed delivery, improper storage after receipt, heat exposure, weather, humidity, package handling, or customer handling after receipt.
Please pick up fresh bakery items during the stated pickup window when choosing local pickup, and follow any storage or reheating instructions provided with your order after pickup or delivery.
Lost, damaged, delayed, or missing orders
If an order is lost, damaged, delayed, missing items, or appears incorrect, please contact Eat Well ABQ as soon as possible with your order number, name, contact information, a description of the issue, and photos when available.
Approved resolutions, if any, are handled case by case and may depend on the product type, timing, condition, carrier information, customer details, weather, packaging, and whether the issue was caused by Eat Well ABQ, a third-party carrier, incorrect customer information, or circumstances outside our control.

International shipping
Eat Well ABQ primarily ships within the United States and does not guarantee international shipping availability. If international shipping is ever available for an eligible item, customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, fees, restrictions, delays, or requirements associated with the destination country.
We are not responsible for delays, holds, returns, damage, or non-delivery caused by customs, international carrier issues, destination restrictions, incorrect documentation, or customer-provided address issues.
Policy updates
Eat Well ABQ may update this Shipping and Pickup Policy from time to time to reflect changes in fulfillment options, bakery operations, shipping availability, carrier options, packaging requirements, class offerings, legal requirements, or business practices.
