Bring me the crew · I’ll guide the kitchen

A private kids cooking class for their whole crew.

Bring six to ten young cooks together for real kitchen skills, food they are proud to make, and an Albuquerque experience that feels bigger than another party rental. You choose the people and occasion; I’ll guide the food, the stations, the teaching, and the flow.

Chef Evangalene, private kids cooking class instructor at Eat Well ABQ
Welcome to the kids class page · I'm Chef Evangalene!

I’ll help turn the kitchen into a place where young cooks can try, learn, make something real, and feel proud of what they did together.

You do not need a perfect class plan before you begin. Tell me the ages, occasion, support needs, and the kind of food they would be excited to make; I’ll help shape the safest, strongest direction for the group.

Choose the right starting point Bring the crew for a private class, or book one young cook into a scheduled public class.
Welcome to their kitchen table

One private gathering, their favorite people, and a real chance for me to help them feel proud of what they make.

You make the group chat. I’ll make the kitchen part worth getting everyone together. Birthdays, homeschool crews, cousins, friends, and young cooks get a private experience of their own—without you shopping, building stations, teaching the lesson, or cleaning the class kitchen afterward.
Private plans, made easier Start with the people. I’ll help make the kitchen part feel easy.

You bring their people. I’ll give them something real to do together.

Kids birthday and homeschool cooking experience
Flexible purpose

Built for birthdays, homeschool groups, and real gatherings.

This works for a kids cooking party, educational group activity, school-break experience, youth organization outing, or private friend-group class.

Small kids cooking class with direct Chef guidance
Small by design

Ten children is the maximum, not the starting point.

I keep the group small so I can protect kitchen safety, direct instruction, workspace, oven flow, and the confidence-building experience parents are actually booking.

How I build the private kids class

Give them something real to do, make, and remember together.

Start with the kids and the feeling you want—not a perfect brief. Your reservation gives me the information I need, then I shape the class around the age range, recipe, allergy information, support needs, and occasion.

01

Choose the cooking theme

Start with mac and cheese, handmade pasta, artisan pizza, fresh cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, a seasonal class, or a custom menu request.

02

Reserve the group size

Select the dedicated station package for six, eight, or ten participating young cooks and review the live price before checkout.

03

Share ages and support needs

Submit preferred dates, age range, specific allergies, accessibility information, and the responsible adult who will remain onsite.

04

I confirm the private class

I follow up directly to confirm availability, final theme details, supervision layout, and the strongest class flow for the group.

Not sure what they will love yet? That is exactly what this section is for. Choose the closest direction, and I’ll review the ages, group size, safety, timing, ingredients, equipment, allergies, and event plan before confirming the final class.

Fun matters. So does a class that stays controlled and safe.

Kids cooking experiences in Albuquerque

One private class. Several reasons to gather.

I built this page for Albuquerque-area families and organizers looking for a private kids cooking activity with more structure, hospitality, and hands-on value than a standard party rental or passive group outing.

Hosted through Eat Well ABQ in Albuquerque.

The microbakery is located at 9927 Silverton Dr NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114. I confirm the final location, date, class theme, and operating details directly after checkout.

Private kids cooking class FAQ

Everything parents need to feel good about booking.

Chef Evangalene answering questions about a private kids cooking class at Eat Well ABQ
A note from me before you book · Chef Evangalene

I want the grown-up planning this to feel clear, supported, and confident before the kids ever walk into the kitchen.

Read the practical answers below, then send me the real details—ages, allergies, support needs, and what they want to make. I’ll help you decide whether this private format is the right fit.

Is this a public or multi-day summer cooking camp?

No. This product reserves a private, single-session kids cooking or baking experience for the group your organizer brings. If you only need one young cook, browse Eat Well ABQ’s public cooking and baking classes for scheduled sourdough bread, sourdough pasta, cinnamon roll, and other class listings; check each listing’s age guidance before booking. The Kids Cooking Camp name describes this private event’s hands-on class style; additional sessions would need to be arranged separately with Eat Well ABQ.

What ages is the private kids cooking class designed for?

The standard experience is designed primarily for ages 8–14. Groups with children ages 6–7 may be considered based on the recipe, group size, adult support, safety, and Chef approval.

Is this a drop-off kids cooking class?

No. At least one responsible adult organizer must remain onsite for the full class. Additional adult support may be requested based on ages, group size, or individual support needs.

What can the kids make?

The featured option is Mac & Cheese Cooking Camp. Other Chef-reviewed choices include handmade pasta, pizza, cinnamon rolls, cupcake decorating, seasonal cooking or baking, and a custom theme request.

Can I book this as a kids birthday cooking party in Albuquerque?

Yes. Birthday celebrations are one of the primary reasons to reserve this private kids class. The organizer can select a birthday occasion and add the guest-scaled kids celebration setup, a kids birthday cake, a five-gallon Chef-made organic juice and chips service, a kids dessert tray, or a kids charcuterie board when those add-ons are available.

Can homeschool groups or youth organizations book?

Yes. Homeschool groups, friend groups, family groups, school-break gatherings, and youth organizations may reserve a package, subject to age range, supervision, schedule, and final class approval.

Can Eat Well ABQ accommodate food allergies?

All allergy and dietary information must be disclosed before confirmation. Eat Well ABQ will review what can be accommodated safely, but a completely allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.

Why is the maximum ten participating children?

The Eat Well ABQ microbakery is intentionally intimate. Limiting the class protects workspace, oven and equipment flow, supervision, direct Chef guidance, and meaningful hands-on time.

Is the date guaranteed when I check out?

No. Checkout reserves the selected private package. Eat Well ABQ reviews the preferred dates and follows up to confirm the final date, time, theme, group size, supervision plan, and class flow.

What happens after checkout?

Eat Well ABQ reviews the order and planning details, then contacts the organizer to finalize availability, class theme, ages, timing, allergies, support needs, add-ons, and the private-event plan.

Give them a private kitchen experience they’ll talk about long after the last bite.

Bring their people, tell me what would make them light up, and I’ll help finalize the Albuquerque class date, time, theme, supervision plan, allergy review, and experience details.
